Suleman Ahmad, born on November 3rd, 1984, in Peshawar, Pakistan, is the visionary behind The Atlantis Chaperone. His early years were shaped by his father’s career in the Pakistan Air Force, leading him to pursue his initial studies at PAF Degree College, Peshawar. He completed his matriculation from Forward High School in Karim Pura, Peshawar, and later attended Government College of Commerce, Peshawar, where he earned a diploma in commerce
History
Ambitiously, Suleman pursued both a Bachelor of Commerce and Chartered Accountancy simultaneously, balancing morning and evening classes. During this period, he also began his teaching career, offering tuition classes to junior school students. Despite his demanding academic schedule, he excelled in his B.Com studies, securing second position in the province in B.Com Honors in 2008. However, his progress in Chartered Accountancy was slower, managing to pass only a few papers.
In 2009, Suleman completed his Master of Commerce in Accounting. Following this, he joined a Chartered Accountancy firm for articleship training but soon received a compelling job offer from Rehman Medical Institute as an Accounts Officer. Balancing his job and CA training, Suleman eventually decided to discontinue his pursuit of Chartered Accountancy.
Married to a practicing medical doctor, Suleman’s life has been a blend of professional and personal achievements. During his teaching career, he was recognized multiple times, receiving the Best Teacher Award four times along with letters of achievement. His dedication and expertise also earned him the role of a chaperone for a school tour to NASA’s Kennedy Space Center in 2016, where he was awarded the Best Chaperone Award and a five-year multiple-entry visa from the USA.
Suleman’s passion for cricket, reignited in 2012, continues today, making him a professional cricketer. In 2017, his cricketing journey took him to New York, where he played for Atlantis Cricket Club NY and won the Spirit of Cricket Award. His cricket career has been featured in USA Cricketers, where his journey from Peshawar to the international cricket stage is highlighted. You can read more about his inspiring story here.
In 2019, when his request to chaperone a UK tour was denied, Suleman decided to establish his own business—The Atlantis Chaperone. Initially balancing this venture with his teaching responsibilities, he began arranging student tours, which saw a brief hiatus during the 2020 pandemic but resumed in May 2021.
During a 2021 trip to the USA, Suleman connected with Sayed Suleman, the CEO of SAL Media. Together, they manage The Atlantis Chaperone’s social media presence, which now boasts 250k followers. Sayed Salman also registered The Atlantis Chaperone as a tourist firm in New York State, where both now serve as directors.
Currently, Suleman Ahmad is the CEO of The Atlantis Chaperone, where he manages the visit visa section. Meanwhile, Sayed Salman oversees the student visa section. Together, they provide comprehensive visa services, offering sports, education, workshops, and training in all domains for student events and other engagements.
In addition to his business ventures, Suleman continues his academic journey, pursuing a Ph.D. in Finance from City University of Management Sciences and IT. He also teaches accounting and finance online and is furthering his skills at the University of Spoken English.
